Alexandra Tydings

Alexandra (she/her) comes to intimacy coordination with an extensive background as an actor and a passion for good storytelling on screen. She has been a working member of SAG-AFTRA for over twenty-five years and was a series regular for six years on the TV series Xena Warrior Princess. Alexandra knows first hand the challenges an actor faces when performing an intimate scene on set, and also knows from experience that the most dynamic, passionate work happens when the actors feel confident and safe. As an intimacy coordinator, Alexandra works at every stage of production from prep to post to facilitate the director's vision while ensuring the ongoing safety of the actors. By creating an environment that promotes communication, confidence, and creativity, Alexandra empowers the director and actors to do their best work while also ensuring a safe and efficient production.
