Borbála Anna Veszelák

Borbála (she/her) is an IPA certified intimacy coordinator based between London, UK and Budapest, Hungary. She holds a combined BA in Theatre and Film Studies from Freie Universität Berlin and UCLA, and an MA in Film Directing from MetFilm School London, with a specialization in gender studies, feminist film theory and race, class and gender in performance. Combining her love for filmmaking with a commitment to supporting people in vulnerable situations, she sees intimacy coordination as a vital blend of storytelling and advocacy.

With experience in production and AD teams on independent films and major productions such as Dune: Part Two, Borbála has a strong understanding of on-set dynamics. She prioritizes actor safety and comfort while fostering a creative and collaborative space for directors and performers, ensuring that intimacy scenes are both narratively impactful and ethically executed. Her background in movement-based improvisation allows her to support the director in crafting dynamic, story-driven intimacy choreography that enhances both performance and visual storytelling.

Having lived and worked in Budapest, Berlin, Los Angeles, and London, she is highly adaptable to diverse cultural and professional environments. She is particularly passionate about making intimacy coordination accessible to young and independent filmmakers.

She is available for projects worldwide and is fluent in English, German, and Hungarian.
