Julia Belanova

Julia (she/they) is Intimacy Coordination Advisor to the Hollywood Commission's Respect on Set Program. This initiative offers independent production companies state-of-the-art practices, resources, and guidance to promote harassment-free workplaces. Julia is experienced with creating policies for producers that support the safe and effective filming of intimate scenes. Through her work with the Anita Hill-led Hollywood Commission, Julia brings together unions, guilds, streamers and studios to drive systemic change and end harassment, discrimination and abuse in the entertainment industry. As an actor, Julia has performed in major studio feature films and television series, including Five Nights at Freddy’s, Lisa Frankenstein, Sugar, and Mayans M.C. (recurring, seasons 4&5). Julia graduated magna cum laude from Harvard University in the historic first class of Theater, Dance and Media concentrators.  Julia's background as an actor and policy creator gives her a unique perspective for collaborating with everyone involved in the creative process. She is an expert at facilitating efficient and respectful working environments for all.
