Mo Matton

Mo Matton (they/them) is a trans intimacy coordinator for film and TV, certified by Intimacy Professionals Association (IPA) and Intimacy Coordinators Canada (ICC). Counting over 100 intimacy scene credits and a decade of experience in the film industry, they offer their services in English and French. They have a background in movement, choreography, and LGBTQIA2S+ advocacy, and hold a master’s degree in Media Studies and a bachelor degree in Film Studies and Gender Studies. Mo's approach is creative, compassionate and direct, attentive to the well-being of performers and to the artistic vision of the director. They are committed to providing a safer work experience, integrating anti-oppressive and consent-forward practices on set.

As part of their advocacy work, Mo has developed workshops on trans inclusion for the Directors Guild of Canada (DGC) and facilitated intimacy coordinating educational workshops and talks for ACTRA, UDA, Festival du Nouveau Cinema (FNC) and various theatre and film faculties.
